Uni David-Andersen Silver Brooch
Uni David-Andersen, 1960's
The open form and soft sterling grid of this brooch make it a versatile piece that can blend with virtually any fabric or texture, or it can be worn with a chain or cord and hang alone as a pendant.
Uni David-Andersen, along with fellow female designers Unn Tangerud and Marianne Berg, founded the Uni David-Andersen workshop in 1959. As the great granddaughter of famous Norwegian designer David Andersen she carried on the family tradition of jewelry making while experimenting with new techniques, styles, and working to promote women in the field of jewelry design.
Sterling silver, excellent condition, Uni David-Andersen hallmark, 1.5" x 2".
